Today he contributes with more than 33 years of experience in business development and acting as sole stakeholder and managing director from start-up scenarios to successful exits in the measurement and security market. |
| Research | Prof. Dr. Elmar Noeth, FAU Erlangen Speech technology, pattern recognition, computer science He is professor for Applied Computer Science at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and member of the editorial board of Speech Communication and EURASIP JASMP. He is teaming with researchers in the international speech community and participated in the foundation of spin-off companies. His current subjects of interest are speaker characterization, prosody, analysis of pathologic speech, computer aided language learning and emotion analysis. |

Korbinian Riedhammer is Professor of Software Architecture and Machine Learning at the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm. He received his diploma and doctorate in computer science from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. His research focuses on speech recognition, machine learning, and sequence learning. He previously worked as a visiting scientist at the International Computer Science Institute in Berkeley and co-founded the speech technology startup Remeeting (later Mod9). |
| Research | Prof. Dr.-Ing. Reiner Thomä, Ilmenau Measurement, direction Finding, electromagnetic wave propagation He received the Dipl.-Ing. (M.S.E.E.), Dr.-Ing. (Ph.D.E.E.) and the Dr.-Ing. habil. degrees in electrical engineering and information technology from Technische Universität Ilmenau, Germany. Since 1992 he has been a professor of electrical engineering at TU Ilmenau, where he was the head of Elec-tronic Measurement Research Laboratory. He has been retired since 2018. He is fellow of the IEEE and has earned several awards, e.g. the Vodafone Innovation Award in 2014. |
